The Manor ISD Early Childhood department provides support for the implementation of early childhood curriculum. We also develop our own curriculum to ensure the best teaching practices are developmentally appropriate and preparing our youngest learners to be ready for kindergarten and beyond.
Our Manor ISD Early Childhood mission is to work collaboratively with the community to develop lifelong learners in an environment that serves the needs of the whole child.
The Manor ISD Early Childhood Department will empower students to become lifelong learners and agents of change.
Pre-K in Manor ISD
Manor ISD Pre-K offers a nurturing, challenging environment to prepare our students for the K-12 school career and beyond. The most critical years of learning for young children is from birth to five years of age. Pre-K gives students the chance to learn skills for learning that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
Manor ISD offers Pre-K for three and four-year-old students. Pre-K 4 is offered at every Manor ISD elementary campus. Our PreK-3 program is offered in Partnership with Child Inc/Head Start. Every Pre-K class is taught by a Texas Certified Teacher and supported by a teaching assistant.
Pre-K classrooms follow the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines and use a research-based curriculum. Pre-K academic lessons take on an integrative approach that offer opportunities for social interaction and purposeful play.
For questions about Pre-K, please contact the Manor Elementary Early Learning Center at 512-278-4100, or connect with us via Let's Talk.
